PRESENTATION Coordination of art: Manuel Terán (www.manuelteran.net)
Manuel Terán, plastic artist, painter, he has exposed in Milan, Santiago de Chile, Murcia, Madrid, Toledo, Valencia, Cuenca. In 2001, Santiago’s Museum of Visual Arts ordered an artwork for its collection: “Revealed”. Tisis more recent project, “Capital Portrait”, has been exhibited in the Caja Madrid Foundation (A Space for Art, Madrid) and during the year 2006 his artwork will be exhibited in art galleries in Madrid, Bilbao, Lion and Pamplona. He has worked in the area of electronic art since 2000 in digital projects collaboration with other artists, focusing his contributions to the the estethichs and on the creation of hybrid backups for the creation. His investigation has been expressed in artworks that span from cyber action such as “Luminisensor” to the artificial life “Foto.sin.tesis”. His latest work in the field of multidisciplinary creation is the project named “ORBITA”, where he focuses his interest on the coherence of use of new technologies, investigating backups and recent technical programs for its diversification. Presently,
he resides in Spain and is working on short film project (IDCOM). |
