EXTRACT
INTACT PROJECT INTACT [INTERFACE FOR THE TELESHARED ACTION] is a proposal for investigation and development in the field of cyber culture, oriented towards the collaborative and interactive creation through the internet. The aim is to give incitements to reflection and experimentation in the area of the Art of Action, through multicast session video conferences among artists located in different places around the world. In this sense, the INTACT project spreads over the scenic arts as well as the visual arts and the new technologies. The reflections considered in the implementation of ITCT that would be of use to the scenic arts, would basically be the digitalization of the body and the transmission of data in real time, as well as the fusion of different multicultural scenarios into one digital space. The project is comprised of workshops in Spain, France, Postugal and other countries in the EU and, as well as, Latin America (work in progress). During the workshops, the project suggests investigating and experimentating the field of new technologies, the esthetics and the Art of Action in context of international collaboration. Finally, the INTACT project proposes three simultaneous public presentations (one in each member state) that would be connected through the Internet, at the same time producing the second version of ORBITA Festival of Teleshared Actions in Real Time by web cams. The INTACT project is an extension of the ÓRBITA Project presented during the Theatrical and Resistance seminar organized by the UCLM in October 2005.
PRESENTATION INTACT. Interface for the teleshared action is an artistic project, of international contribution, linked to the scenic arts and the new technologies, proposed and directed by Sara Malinarich (Multimedia Artist). The direction of the INTACT project is coordinated by Manuel Terán (visual artist and investigator of digital backups), responsible of art coordination and Alexandre Berthier (multimedia artist) coordinator in Paris for INTACT project. The participants of the project INTACT are independent artists and professors linked to the project by direct invitation. The project has teams of work in Spain and France, thus also INTACT has artists collaborators in Uruguay and United States. The main goal of INTACT is to carry out laboratories -open to the public- of creation in real time, doing workshops of experimentation and conferences, focused to the creation to distance through Internet, utilizing systems of videoconference multicast and other software of digital manipulation. The technology for the execution of connections in different points of the world in a simultaneous way is based on systems of videoconference that bear more than two users, such as, Access Gray, VRVS. In the same way, other applications and programs can be introduced in these contexts of digital spaces shared. For a better manipulation of the data that exchange the users in these sessions of videoconference, the project INTACT has created the Trans-Meet on-line creation laboratory that at present is found in full phase of development. The expected results, after of these laboratories (one in each headquarters associate), would be carry out the INTACT Festival of Teleshared Action through multicast videoconference system. The INTACT project is the extension of the ORBITA Project, proposed and directed by Sara Malinarich. Making with the collaboration of María Domínguez Alba, (coordination Spain), Kathie Bustos (coordination Chile) and Ximena Narea (coordination Sweden), showed during the seminar "Theatricality and Resistance", organized by the UCLM, October 2005, where was showed, with experimental character, the first International festival of Teleshared Actions by webcam: ORBITA[05] Festival
